In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Engineer Al Thabahi said that the municipality has recently implemented several new standards in internal transactions between different departments, by activating a new electronic system for internal transactions based on business management methodology and paperless management, adding that the municipality’s endeavour to achieve quality standards goes in full swing.
Within the framework of the objectives of the Municipality's Strategic Plan, Al Thabahi said that an integrated methodology for the concepts of professional excellence was developed. He explained that the Municipality is intensively gearing up for taking part in GITEX in Dubai as part of Sharjah government stand at the exhibition.
He also touched on the municipality’s various projects including Al Soor Bridge development. He added that the municipality has recently circulated a new binding mechanism for contractors and homeowners to get rid of the waste resulting from construction or maintenance and other uses
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24” on the sidelines of the opening of “Zayed Al Khair Bazaar”, organised by government departments in Kalba, Al Zaabi said that such initiatives refresh the memory and instill the legacy of a great and historic leader – the late Sheikh Zayed (May God Rest His Soul in Peace).
He explained that public and private sectors’ keenness to launch initiatives on the occasion stems from their awareness of the great importance of acquainting young generations of the legacy of the nation’s great leader.
He concluded that such activities and events disseminate the culture of solidarity and humanitarian work, translating the late Sheikh Zayed’s approach.
During the meeting, Kalba Municipal Council has lauded the generous grants of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for all the citizens and residents in the emirate of Sharjah,; congratulating His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah on the UAE’s winning of the International Astronomical Union, IAU, represented by the Sharjah Centre for Space and Astronomy.
This came during the Council’s first meeting, which was chaired by Mohammed Abdullah Al Za’abi, chairman of Kalba Municipal Council, in the presence of several other members and dignitaries.
